Frequently Asked Questions
Drivers must be aged 25 years or over and possess a full category British driving licence for the type of vehicle rented.
Drivers are required to have held a full, clean driving licence for a minimum of 12 months and have a clear insurance record.
Certain endorsed licences may be accepted, please contact branch for details.
Overseas visitors must produce a valid domestic driving licence accompanied by a passport.
The minimum rental period for our cars is 1 day (24hrs).
For advance bookings payment in full is required. For cancellations, 1 day's payment will be charged if less than 24 hours notice is given. Most major credit / debit cards are accepted. Please note we do not accept AMEX or DINERS card payments.
Subject to availability rentals may be extended by contacting the rental office and arranging an extension during time of original rental, failure to do so will result in the vehicle being uninsured.
Do not leave the site of an accident and get in touch with the police. If no one was hurt and the vehicle received only minor damage, drivers should move their cars to the side of the road to keep them from causing traffic congestion. In any other case, it is not recommended for you to move the vehicle. Once you have recieved the police report, please complete the Motor Accident Notification Form and return it to our office.
