Additional Services

Jack's Self Drive provide a wide range of additional services that you can add to your booking to make the most of your rental experience. Additional services available include; satellite navigation (GPS) hire, additional drivers, local pick-up and drop-off from selected branches and a wide variety of child car seats.

Satellite Navigation (GPS)

Only £10 per hire, why not take the hassle out of finding your way around a new city with our reliable Tom Tom Sat Navs. With full fitting and operating demonstration from one of our rental staff, our sat navs are easy to use and will help you on your travels without the need of a map.

Additional Drivers

Arrive at your destination fresher by adding an additional driver to your car hire. You can add up to three extra drivers to help share the driving and all will have the same insurance cover as the main driver. Adding an additional driver to your rental will cost as little as £10 per person including VAT.

Pick-up and Drop-off Services

Airport Meet & Greet

Jack's Self Drive offers a Meet & Greet service direct from Inverness Airport. On arrival at Inverness Airport, proceed to the 'Arrival Lounge' to collect your baggage. One of our staff members will be waiting for you in the 'Arrivals Lounge' displaying an board with your surname written on it. You will then be required to complete the necessary paperwork, after which you will be taken to your vehicle and given a brief tutorial on the vehicle operations as well as what to do upon returning the car to the airport, upon departure. Please note that we always ensure we have your specific flight details and we monitor the arrival of your flight via Inverness Airports Live Flight Arrivals online, so that in the unlikely event your flight is Early or delayed, we will action this accordingly.

Train Station Meet & Greet

Jack's Self Drive offers a Meet & Greet service direct from Inverness Train Station. On arrival at Inverness Train Station, proceed to the end of your arrival platform where one of our staff members will be waiting for you displaying a board with your surname written on it. You will then be required to complete the necessary paperwork, after which you will be taken to your vehicle and given a brief tutorial on the vehicle operations as well as what to do upon returning the car to the train station, upon departure. Please note that we always ensure we have your specific train details and we will monitor the arrival of your train via Scotrail Journey Check online, so that in the unlikely event your train is Early or delayed, will action this accordingly.

Local Pick-up

With our local pick-up service, one of our drivers will collect you and bring you to our rental collection office, saving you time and money organising taxis or working out public transport times. This hassle-free service is subject to availability.

Child Car Seats

Children under 135cm or under 12 years of age, are required by UK law to use appropriate child restraints when travelling in cars.

Jack's Self Drive has a large variety of child car seats available to hire at the time of booking or at the time of hire from the pick-up branch, subject to availability. It is the driver's legal responsibility to ensure the child is correctly restrained.
